The Bishop of Aston is an episcopal title used by a suffragan bishop of the Church of England Diocese of Birmingham, in the Province of Canterbury, England.[1] The title takes its name after Aston, an area of the City of Birmingham. The suffragan bishop of Aston assists the diocesan bishop of Birmingham, sharing Episcopal oversight throughout the diocese.[2]
On 28 October 2008 the Rt Revd Andrew Watson was consecrated as the new Bishop of Aston in St Paul's Cathedral, and subsequently he and his family were installed in Bishop's Lodge, Sutton Coldfield.
