Block Entertainment is an indie record label created by Russell "Block" Spencer. The label is known for creating southern group Boyz N Da Hood & releasing artist Yung Joc. In 2005 Block signed an exclusive joint venture deal with Warner Music Group's label Bad Boy Entertainment.[1] In November 2009, Block Entertainment signed a joint venture deal with Capitol Records. The label's upcoming releases will include a new album from Gorilla Zoe titled King Kong, which features first single "What's Going On". The label's new artist, Jacquees, released EP "I Am Jacquees" and debut single "Wave To Your Boyfriend", which features Young Money Entertainment artist Lil Chuckee; these releases are available on the label's website.
