Charleston (earlier, Wyruck) is a former settlement in Merced County, California.[1] It was located 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Los Banos.[1]

The Wyruck post office opened in 1876, changed its name to Charleston in 1878, and closed in 1884.[1] The name honors Charles Bambauer, its first postmaster.[1]
