Emilio Exequiel Hernández Hernández (born September 14, 1984 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean footballer, currently at Colo-Colo.

Hernández began his career with Universidad de Chile, in 2005 he was loaned to Everton. In January 2007, he was returned to Universidad de Chile and began to earn himself a regular spot in the first team with his good form. Emilio scored in the first final of Torneo Apertura 2009 against Unión Española, the match finished 1-1. In the second match U. de Chile defeated Unión Española 1-0 and become champions.
On 23 July 2009, Hernández left Universidad de Chile after a few years and signed with Cruz Azul.[1]
On January 2010 has left Cruz Azul to sign an one year loan deal with Argentinos Juniors.[2] He made his debut for the club in a 2-2 draw against Boca Juniors on 31 January 2010.
Hernández was a regular player in the Argentinos Juniors team that won the Clausura 2010 championship. He played in 12 of the club's 19 games and scored 1 goal during their championship winning campaign.
On January 2012, Argentinos Juniors released Hernández,[3] and the next week he sign with Universidad de Chile.
