FINS.com is a targeted career resource and employment website from The Wall Street Journal. The site was launched in July 2009 by Dow Jones & Company, and serves as a career center and job board for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. FINS provides industry-specific news, hiring trends, career advice, and jobs for finance, accounting, sales, marketing, information technology, technology, MBAs, and student audiences.
FINS publishes a daily newsletter called the Morning Coffee. FINS Morning Coffee newsletter is a round-up of latest career news, sent in a daily email. The newsletter provides industry specific news and advice in three editions: Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Technology.
FINS was founded in 2009 by Dow Jones, which in turn is owned by News Corporation. Since launching, FINS has become the job board for all of The Wall Street Journals Digital Network: WSJ.com, MarketWatch, All Things Digital, and Barron's.
2011 Fins launched global sites for Europe and Asia-Pacific, as well as a student site. The Student sector provides resume & interview tips, job openings and internships, as well as news & advice on how to start a career.
In 2012 FINS launched a mobile app for Android and Apple, featuring jobs and career news.
In June 2012 FINS was Sold to Dice Holdings.
Over the few years, FINS has quickly become a major player within online employment websites.
