Fulvio Tomizza (January 26, 1935 - May 21, 1999) was an Italian writer. He was born in Giurizzani in Istria, (now in Croatia).
In 1954 with the annexation of Zone B by Yugoslavia Tomizza moved to Trieste and his career as a writer took place there. Although he did write a trilogy about his native Istria.
