George Zuverink (born August 20, 1924 in Holland, Michigan) is a former professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher over parts of eight Major League Baseball seasons (1951-52, 1954-59) with the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Redlegs, Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles. For his career, he compiled a 32–36 record in 265 appearances, mostly as a relief pitcher, with a 3.54 earned run average and 223 strikeouts.

In 1957, Zuverink and Frank Zupo twice formed the only "Z" battery in major league history as of 2011, the first time coming on July 1, 1957 when Zupo made his big-league debut with a 10th-inning catching appearance against the New York Yankees.
