IBN-7 (Indian Broadcast Network) is a Hindi news television channel owned by Network 18 Ltd based in Mumbai.[2] IBN-7 (Hindi) - formerly Channel 7 was acquired from Jagran TV, owned by the Dainik Jagran group of companies, in 2006 and rebranded IBN-7. IBN-7 is the Hindi news channel of IBN18 Broadcast Limited, which is part of Network 18, India’s growing media conglomerate. A team of experienced reporters all over India & Well known news anchors like Ashutosh, Darain Shahidi, Sanjeev Paliwal, Sandeep Chaudhry and Samir Abbas are its strength. IBN-7 is from the same stable as CNN-IBN, English news channel and is led by Rajdeep Sardesai and supported by Ashutosh, the Managing Editor of the channel. Global Broadcast News Ltd. (GBN) owns the channel.[3]
