List of United States Senators from Iowa

Iowa was admitted to the Union on December 28, 1846. Its current Senators are Republican Charles Grassley, who has served since 1981, and Democrat Tom Harkin, who has served since 1985. With a combined service time of sixty years as of the 113th Congress, Iowa's current delegation is the most senior in the Senate.
