As of January 2017, there are four former Senators from Nevada who are living, two from Class 1 and two from Class 3. The most recent senator to die was Chic Hecht of Class 1 (1983-1989) on May 15, 2006. The most recent Class 3 senator to die was Alan Bible (1954-1974) on September 12, 1988.
