As of the census of 2010, there were 335 people, 147 households, and 109 families residing in the city. The population density was 231.0 inhabitants per square mile (89.2 /km2). There were 269 housing units at an average density of 185.5 per square mile (71.6 /km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.5% White, 0.3% Pacific Islander, 0.3% from other races, and 0.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.3% of the population.
There were 147 households out of which 24.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.0% were married couples living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 1.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 25.9% were non-families. 23.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.65.
The median age in the city was 50.4 years. 19.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 17.7% were from 25 to 44; 37.1% were from 45 to 64; and 21.8% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.1% male and 49.9% female.
As of the census of 2000, there were 271 people, 113 households, and 85 families residing in the city. The population density was 180.3 people per square mile (69.8/km²). There were 159 housing units at an average density of 105.8 per square mile (40.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.74% of the population.
