Mike Nicholas is a rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and '80s, coach of the 1980s–2000s, and current Wales Rugby League president, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Aberavon RFC, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and Wales, and at club level for Warrington, and Cardiff City (Bridgend) Blue Dragons, as a Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12.[1]

Mike Nicholas won caps for Wales (RL) while at Warrington in 1975 against France, and England, in 1977 against England, and France, in 1978 against France, and in 1979 against England, and represented Great Britain (RL) in non-test matches.[2]
Mike Nicholas played in Warrington's 24-9 victory over Featherstone Rovers in the 1973-74 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 11 May 1974, and was a playing substitute in the 7-14 defeat to Widnes in the 1974-75 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 10 May 1975.
Mike Nicholas played Right-Prop, i.e. number 10, in Warrington's 15-12 victory over Australia at Wilderspool Stadium, Warrington on Wednesday 11 October 1978.[3]
Mike Nicholas was the coach of Wales at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup.
