North 1 West is an English Rugby Union League at the sixth tier of the domestic competition.

North 1 West is made up of teams from around the north west of England who play home and away matches throughout a winter season.

Occasionally, depending on promotion and relegation to/from National League 3 North, from North 1 East and North 1 West, teams from either of those leagues may be required to compete in the opposite league for one season to ensure that the number of teams in the East and West leagues remain at 14 teams each.
