The North Texas Fresh is a team of the American Basketball Association based in Fort Worth, Texas, and began play in the 2009-10 season.[1] The franchise is owned by Jay Bowdy, who was a high school and college player from the Fort Worth area.[2]
For the 2010-2011 season, the Fresh split their home games between the Bedford Boys Ranch in Bedford, Texas, and the W.G. Thomas Coliseum in Haltom City, Texas. The team scheduled games against both ABA and non-ABA opponents.[3]
