Basketball is a team sport which is played by several professional leagues throughout the world. Some countries also have woman professional basketball.

BAI Basket is the professional basketball league in Angola.

United States and Canada [edit]

Now the U.S and Canada have two professional male leagues the National Basketball League of Canada and the National Basketball Association and a women's league the Women's National Basketball Association

The Iranian Basketball Super League is a professional basketball league in Iran founded in 1998.

South Korea has a men professional basketball Korean Basketball League and a women professional basketball Women's Korean Basketball League.

China [edit]

China's one and only Chinese Basketball Association has a major professional basketball league followed by NBA in U.S and Canada.

Philippines [edit]

The Philippine Basketball Association is the oldest professional basketball league in Asia was founded in 1975. The league used the hybrid rules from the NBA and FIBA
