Ridgeland Township is one of twenty-six townships in Iroquois County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 403.[1]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Ridgeland Township covers an area of 26.94 square miles (69.8 km2); of this, 26.94 square miles (69.8 km2) (99.97 percent) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (0.01 percent) is water. Ridgeland Township was formed from Onarga Township on January 29, 1879; the original name was Ridge Township, but the name was changed to Ridgeland Township on an unknown date.
