Ridgeland Township is one of twenty-six townships in Iroquois County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 403.
According to the United States Census Bureau, Ridgeland Township covers an area of 26.94 square miles (69.8 km2); of this, 26.94 square miles (69.8 km2) (99.97 percent) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (0.01 percent) is water. Ridgeland Township was formed from Onarga Township on January 29, 1879; the original name was Ridge Township, but the name was changed to Ridgeland Township on an unknown date.
