Saraipali is a town and a nagar panchayat in Mahasamund district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

Saraipali is located at 21°20′N 83°00′E / 21.33°N 83.0°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 248 metres (813 feet).it is located in chattishgarh and orissa border in Nh-6.saraipali is 156 km far from Raipur and 120 km from Bilaspur
Demographics [edit]
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Saraipali had a population of 32,058. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Saraipali has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 63%. In Saraipali, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
