Sinking Creek is a 19.8-mile-long (31.9 km)[1] tributary of Penns Creek in Centre County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Via Penns Creek, it is part of the Susquehanna River watershed.

Sinking Creek rises in the Bear Meadows Natural Area of Rothrock State Forest, 6 miles (10 km) southeast of State College. The creek flows northeast into Penns Valley, joining Penns Creek near the census-designated place Spring Mills.
In geomorphology, sinking creek refers to a specific landform created by Karst Topography, which is when water flows over limestone or other such calcium containing rocks. These sinking creeks are those portions where the water disappears through fissures or cracks in the water bed. If the tops of these creeks are open, they are called bogas.
